Welcome to the Kobe Bryant / KB24 MVP fan support site. This website is dedicated to Kobe Bryant, and his NBA Most Valuable Player Award for the '07-'08 season. Kobe Bryant has been regarded as the best player in the league for the past 2-3 seasons, and some people believe that he should have already won the MVP award his past performance in the previous seasons, but he hasn't until now.
This year Kobe Bryant led his Los Angeles Lakers team to the top of the one of the toughest conference ever in NBA history. He has taken his team to the NBA Finals for the first time in 4 years. He was able to edge out some of the best contenders running for the same award with names like Lebron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets, and Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics.
Each of these players had their own say in the award, and have done remarkable jobs this season. Lebron James had some incredible numbers. Chris Paul and his Hornets had the second best record in the Western Conference, and Kevin Garnett was the best player on the best team in the league, but Kobe was better than all of them.
This is Kobe Bryant's first MVP award, and hopefully it won't be his last. Congratulations Kobe, and goodluck on the Championship!
